Everyday Spring Makeup Routine

on

Hey guys!
(íslenska)

Happy almost summer! Here it already feels like the greatest summer for me, as I’m used to sub par summers back in Iceland, where the temperature rarely goes above 15° Celsius (and in fact, those are the good summer days in Iceland), so I’m a happy little bunny these days, although school is busy as ever diminishing my ability to enjoy the nice weather by just a little bit.

For the first time in a while I’ve gotten into a routine with my everyday makeup, doing similar things every time I do it. I’ve been creating a look that I’m liking at the moment, a very subtly smoked out lashline with bright inner corners and a pop of color on the lips. It’s both simple and easy as well as very bronzey and glowy, just right for the season.

To create this eyelook I’ve been using the following shades from the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette:

Punk – Smudged along my upper lashline and outer third of lower lashline. Whatever’s left over on the brush blended very lightly into the crease
Anaheim – Swept very lightly through the crease to define it a little bit more
Steady or/and Baby – Dusted onto the lid
Blonde and Bathwater – Applied very liberally to the inner corner as well as onto the inner third of the lower lashline
Skimp – On my brow bone to highlight
